Eyvonne D. Sabins, 76, of Plainview, Texas, formerly of Clovis, New Mexico, died Friday, February 5, 2010, at her home. She was born October 22, 1933, in Mobridge, South Dakota, to Leonard & Leona Hoff Sandvig.

She married Neill L. Sabins September 13, 1952, in Billings, Montana. She had been resident of Clovis since 1960 and had recently moved to Plainview to be close to family. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Clovis where she worked for many years as the Nursery Coordinator.

She is survived by her husband, Neill Sabins of the home; 3 sons, Rocky Sabins (Donnet) of Plainview, Fred Sabins (Terri) of Houston, Texas and Jody Sabins (Elizabeth) of Plainview; 1 daughter, Colleen McKenzie (Bruce) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother and 1 granddaughter, Christy.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Central Baptist Church with Pastor Alan McAlister officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.

Casket bearers will be Rocky Sabins, Fred Sabins, Jody Sabins, Christian Sabins, Timothy Sabins and Stan Patterson.
