Martha “Madell” Wilmeth was born November 11, 1917, in Elida, New Mexico to Walter and Mary Craig. She married Erby G. Wilmeth on November 11, 1937. She enjoyed raising three children, two sons, Walter Wilmeth (Jean) of Tulia, Texas, Steve Wilmeth (Marilyn) of Clovis, New Mexico, and one daughter, Mary Tate (Phillip) of Ranchvale, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 13, 1978, her sister, Oma, and her brother Clint. She is survived by a sister, Louree, of Farmington, New Mexico, two sons, one daughter, 5 grandchildren, Cheryl Howell, Rick Wilmeth, Lisa Rische, Sunnie Greenwalt and Tori Cole, 6 great grandchildren, Dillon, Kyla, Jason, Kourtnie, Austin, and Keaton and 2 great great grandchildren. She loved life and loved her family.

She was a retired beautician and enjoyed gardening and being a homemaker. She loved to dance at Baxter-Curren Senior Citizens Hall and played in a kitchen band. She was the “best” cook in the world and loved sharing her gift with others. She was at home at Retirement Ranch since 2003. They took very good care of her and their care is very muchly appreciated by her entire family.
