Johnny, as you know, we were devastated by the news of Dawn's passing. We would love to be there, but, as you know, that is not possible. Since February and Susan's diagnosis, Susan has been known as my princess warrior. I know your Warrior fought the good fight, and I believe she is fighting with you and the kids who need you so much. Hang in there. I have broad shoulders if you need me. With love in Christ

I never got to meet Dawn in person. I made friends with her on Facebook because she was such an inspiration to me. We both suffer different forms of blood cancer, and she was so grounded and cheerful. I loved following her progress. I loved her love for her children and husband. And she was much loved in her community. This is a woman who will be much missed by all. I miss her daily words of encouragement and good cheer. My heart goes out to her family for their loss.
