September 28, 1979 — May 4, 2026

Adam G. Nuelken, 46 years of age, of Clovis New Mexico, passed away in his home, on May 4th, 2026.

Adam was born at Fort Polk Louisiana to Bruce and Sandra Nuelken on September 28, 1979. He grew up in a military family, with his early years being spent in Louisiana, Oklahoma, Germany, and South Carolina. He was an Eagle Scout, and he graduated from Ridgeview High School in Columbia, South Carolina. He was a veteran, having served his country in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a photojournalist with the 3rd Infantry Division, and had several of his articles published.

While living in Clovis he was employed by BNSF Railway and loved the work he was doing as a telecommunication technician. He loved his motorcycles and was a member of the Warrior Brotherhood [veterans] Motorcycle Club. He also had a kind heart and rescued the dogs that needed help.

He was married to Letitia Nuelken (USAF) for 20 years and moved around the world with her. He is survived by Letitia, his brothers Joshua and Scott, and his parents.

He will be greatly missed by Tish, his parents, his two brothers and his five dogs.

Memorials may be given to the City of Clovis Animal Shelter.

Our family would like to recognize the work, and thank Detective Sergeant Antonio Orozco of the Clovis, NM Police Department, for his generous and unwavering support during this difficult time.
