Alice Westra

Joan Westra, 61, of Chino, CA died September 19, 2006 at USC University Hospital in Los Angeles. A housewife, she was born on May 13, 1945 in Artesia, CA and was a Chino resident for the last 35 years. She was a member of Ontario United Reformed Church and was very active within the church. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Westra; her children and their spouses, Shannon Westra, Roger Westra, Mark and Angie Osterkamp; her siblings include Sid Hibma, Gerritt Hibma, Corney Hibma, Tillie Hibma, Hattie Hibma, Kathren Veltman; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice HiIbma and her brother, Pete Hibma.

A private family graveside was held at Portales Cemetery in Portales, New Mexico.
