Allen Ray Boyd age 85 of Clovis, New Mexico passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. Allen was born September 15, 1927 in Arkansas to Wayne B. and Emma Ferguson Boyd. Allen was a longtime Clovis resident and business owner of Boyds Brake and Alignment. He loved drinking coffee with his buddies, listening to Polka music and playing on the computer. He married Helen Harmon on January 21, 1946 in Farwell, Texas.

Allen is survived by his wife of the home one son Kevin Carol Boyd of Clovis, NM one daughter Linda George Banister of Clovis, NM one granddaughter Skyler Banister of Dallas, Texas one grandson Josh Destiny Banister of Clovis, New Mexico he is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Carolyn Boyd, and one brother Bobby Boyd.

Services are scheduled for Monday, November 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at SteedTodd Chapel with Rev. Dick Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Garden in Clovis. Pallbearers will be Josh Banister, John Homer, Richard Homer, Delbert Kuhn, Dwight Sheriff, Nathan Mastin, and Steve Boyd.
