Anthony Zenon Ulibarri of Clovis, NM, 45, passed away in his home on October 20, 2025
Devoted husband of Verity Ulibarri, and loving father to Atlas Henry and Valkyrie Nell.
Anthony was Raised in Anton Chico, NM. He graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1998, after which he served his country in the United States Navy during military conflicts protecting our freedom, earning several honors, and experiencing the world beyond our borders.
His time in the Navy afforded him the opportunity to graduate from Highlands University, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. His military service continued afterward, achieving the rank of Lieutenant for the New Mexico Army National Guard.
He married the love of his life, Verity Rush, on May 29, 2010. They started their life together in Forrest, Nm where they began to grow their family and farm. Despite knowing few people in a new community, he was able to carve a successful niche through hard work, generosity, and integrity.
Anthony is a true example 0f what a husband, father, friend and man should be. He loved the outdoors, mixed martial arts, building his farm, adventures with Verity, and most of all raising Atlas and Valkyrie. His desire to provide them the best life possible and help them be their best was his driving force.
He was strong, honest, selfless, and brave. He was truly loyal, protecting his loved ones no matter the cost to his well being.
Anthony is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Henry "Hank" and Mary Bernardy, maternal grandmother Barbara Bernardy, Fraternal grandparents Jose and Magdalena "Nene" Ulibarri.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Verity and children Atlas and Valkyrie; his mother Cynthia Ulibarri, father Arnold Ulibarri; In laws, Rex and Kathy Rush; sister Olivia Usher (Keegan); brother Garrett; sister in law Landri Cook (Rob); brother in laws, Cedar Rush (Ta'neil) and Mitchum Rush (Olivia); Nieces and nephews, Alison, Keira, Warren, and Nora Usher; Hudson and Sutton Cook; Steely and Tacer Rush. Along with countless friends, family, and loved ones.
Memorial Service for Anthony Ulibarri will be held this Sunday, October 26, at 2:00 pm at the farm headquarters SW of Grady. 3325 Curry Rd W Grady, NM 88120
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Anthony Ulibarri can be made to Grady Municipal Schools to support all student activities.
