Arthur L. Swearingen age 70 of Tucumcari, New Mexico passed away Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Dr. Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital in Tucumcari, New Mexico. He was born March 16, 1937 in Muncie, Indiana to Clarence and Dorothy Harper Swearingen. He worked as an engineer mechanic for a Catholic Church in St. Louis, Missouri. He married Alicia Siliceo on November 25, 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They came to Tucumcari in 2005. He enjoyed music and loved playing music with his friends. He is survived by his wife Alicia Swearingen of Tucumcari; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
A memorial service will be held Monday, February 11, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Tucumcari. Burial will follow at a later date in Kansas. Cremation has taken place.
