Grandchildren, nieces and nephews frequently spent time at her home and on the farm and have fond memories of their time with Truman and Audrey. She shared many fond memories of her friends and family while growing up and living her life in Texico and was most recently a city councilor in her beloved city.

You were always there when I needed you
a best friend to talk to after school,
a chauffeur to drive me and my friends wherever we needed (or wanted) to go,
a number one fan of whatever function I was in, wherever it was.
You always made my day just by showing up.

Now that I have a precious family of my own, you are still there when I need you
to listen after a hard day
to care in so many ways.
I'm just as excited as the kids when Grandma shows up,
not so much because you're usually bearing gifts but because you came.
My Mom - you make everyone's day just by showing up.

Your last days were marked by the way you were lit whenever a friend or family member
just showed up.

I know you'll always be there, Mom, not just now but forever.
Because of the faith you raised us in, I met our wonderful Jesus.
I'll meet you, Mom, in that incomparable City He's prepared for us - our forever home.
Meet me there, Mom, just inside the Eastern Gate. We can tour it together.
We'll see what eye has not seen,
we'll hear what ear has not heard,
we'll finally understand what has not entered the heart of man.
We'll make each other's day just by showing up.

Sabrina Farmer

Audrey's family wish to express their sincerest thanks for everyone that has shown up in many different ways. We love you all. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cal Farley Boy's Ranch would be welcome.
