Betty Olson

Betty Lou Olson, long time resident of Portales and retired city employee, passed away July 7, 2006 in Peoria, Arizona, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Betty was a native of Curry County, raised in Melrose, New Mexico. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister friend. She will be missed by family all that knew her.

Betty is survived by 4 children Sonny Luann Clifton of Peoria, AZ, Deborah Potter of Santa Fe, NM, Colene Todd Fields of Los Lunas, NM and Kathy Tim Sanford of Portales, NM; sisters Lenora LeonFrieson of La Mirada, CA and Sharon Hodges of Roswell, NM; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and several other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandson Heath Anderson.
