Obituary

Cindy L Broeker, 68, of Clovis, NM, passed away peacefully on 8/31/2026 at her Home in Clovis, New Mexico.

Viewing will be held at Steed Todd Funeral Home 800 E. Manana Blvd Clovis, NM at 1:00PM to 9:00PM on 9/8, Grave side will be at Lawn Haven Cemetery 1601 E Llano Estacado Blvd, Clovis NM on 9/9, at 9:00 AM.

Cindy Broeker was born in Clovis, NM to Jack and Constance Fields on January 3,1958. She attended school in Clovis and graduated from Clovis High.

Cindy spent many years working in the transportation industry. She was a school bus driver and later worked for Safe Ride and ENMRSH. Throughout her working years, Cindy found great fulfillment in helping others. She cared for people in many ways, whether taking children to school, helping people get to doctors' appointments out of town, or simply being there when someone needed her. Later in life, she became a homemaker and devoted her time to her family and the people she loved.

Cindy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, watching movies, sharing evening meals, and sitting on the patio visiting and talking with those she loved. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her family was one of the greatest joys of her life.

To her family, Cindy was more than a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was someone who gave of herself to help others and who found happiness in the simple moments of being together. Her love will continue through the family she leaves behind and through the memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Constance Fields; her sister, Jennifer Eaton; and her daughter, Laurie Bartlett.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Buddy Baldridge; her brother, Jack Fields Jr. and his wife, Claudia Fields, of Bernalillo, New Mexico; her son, Cole Bartlett and his wife, Jennifer Bartlett, of Windsor, Colorado; her daughter, Serina Acosta, of Clovis, New Mexico; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends.

The family of Cindy Broeker wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to her hospice team, nurses, caregivers, family members, friends, and all those who offered their love, prayers, and support during her final days. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
