Clovis, New Mexico

A visitation and viewing will be held Monday, September 27, 2021 from 4 to 6 pm at Steed Todd Funeral Home and a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10:00am in the Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Hohstadt of Prince Street Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at plains cemetery.

Cleo was born in Forest New Mexico to Daniel Helker and Katie Helker on April 18th 1932. He went to school at Wheatland and Norton school. He married Frances Helker on October 30th 1966 in pampa Texas. He worked at the oil fields as a Derrickman for 40 years. He played pool at the Baxter center from 1998 till 2015.

Cleo is preceded in death by his parents; Katie and Daniel Helker, 11 siblings, 4 children.

Cleo is survived by his wife; Frances Helker, six kids, one brother and one sister, 11 grandkids, 15 great grandkids, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include; Tokos Martinez, Joe Angel Martinez, David Helker, Virgil helker, Cleo helker, and Quentin Mirabal.
