Dan Lavender, 66, of Melrose, New Mexico passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, NM.
He was born on August 10, 1944 to Gordan Ara Lavender and Margaret Rosaland Tingley Lavender in Hawthorne, California. He retired from ENMR Telephone Co. in 1998 and farmed and ranched in the Forrest community.
He is survived his wife Linda of the home, one daughter, Holly Rex Martin of Coleman, Oklahoma two grandsons Benjamin and Jeremy one brother, Sonny Lavender of Cerritos, California a nephew, Joe Lavender of Forrest, New Mexico, and several other nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gordan and Margaret Lavender and one brother Jim.
Per Dans wishes, no services will be held.
