Delbert Kuhn

Delbert Kuhn was laid to rest, along with his wife Arletta, on May 18, 2018 at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Delbert passed away on November 23, 2017 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife Arletta Kuhn, Parents Carl and Jane Kuhn and Brother Donald Kuhn.

Delbert was born on September 17, 1931 in LaJunta, Colorado where he was raised on a farm and dairy. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Delbert met his wife Arletta in Rocky Ford, Colorado where they married in 1957. Delbert worked for Santa Fe Railroad which brought him and his family to Clovis, NM where he eventually retired. In his retirement Delbert enjoyed restoring antique John Deere tractors, gas pumps and oil related items. He also enjoyed woodworking from time to time. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Delbert is survived by his 3 sons Michael Kuhn, Wayne Kuhn and wife Michelle, David Kuhn and wife Salome, his Sisters Darlene Martindale and Aline Schwartwood, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Delbert will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but there is comfort in knowing he is reunited with the love of his life.
