Dennis Winn

Dennis Winn, 72 of Clovis, NM passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in Lubbock, TX with his family by his side.

Dennis was born to Gene Winn and Barbara Thompson in Pomona, CA on September 28, 1944. He grew up in Clovis and graduated from Clovis High. He enlisted in the Marines in 1963 also serving in Viet Nam. Dennis went to work for the AT&SF Railroad in April of 1969 and he retired in 1995 as a conductor. He was the New Mexico President of the Marines MC Club. He loved spending time with his family. Dennis enjoyed raising horses, riding his motorcycles, playing pool, shooting air guns, and participating in the Senior Olympics.

He is survived by his wife Shelley; 2 daughters Deanna (Lonnie) Banister and Karrie (Charlie) Day; 4 grandchildren Ashlee, Cavin, Sarah, and Joshua; 1 Great Grandchild Hayze; siblings Karen Martin, David Winn, Donna Russell, and Edward Winn.

Dennis is proceeded in death by his father Gene Winn and mother Dorothy Winn along by his grandparents.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday June 3, 2017, at Steed Todd Chapel.
