Dolly Martinez

We are heartbroken to share that our beloved Dolly Martinez, 63, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025.Born on April 22, 1962 to Angel and Josie Martinez, Dolly was a true Clovis native who brightened the lives of everyone she met. A proud homemaker, she was all about embracing the simple pleasures-whether it was the thrill of Bingo, the excitement of a casino adventure, or enjoying a concert with her friends. Dolly had a special talent for bringing people together, especially during those family grilling sessions filled with laughter and music that she loved.
Dolly's spirit will live on in the hearts of her daughter, Maria Chavez (Cassandra Chavez), her son Gabriel Martinez (Carolann Russell), and her cherished grandchildren: Ruben Ray Chavez, Isac Ray Solano Jr., Demarco Gomez, Reya Ridgemond, Amelia Ridgemond, Eli Ridgemond, Denise Russell, Aurora Martinez, and Xavier Martinez, as well as her great-granddaughter, Adeline Chavez. She is also survived by her siblings, Frances Mendoza, Angel Martinez, Gabriel, and Ricky, along with countless family and friends who will miss her profoundly.
As we gather to honor Dolly's incredible life, we invite all who knew and loved her to a public viewing at the Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel on June 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We'll come together for a memorial service the next day, June 18, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. These gatherings will be a chance for us to share our memories, stories, and laughter, just as Dolly would have wanted.
While Dolly may have left us, her light will continue to shine within each of us as we carry forward the joy, love, and warmth she brought to our lives. Let's celebrate her memory together.
