Donna Leach

Donna F. Leach (Boney), age 86, was born September 28, 1931 in Clovis, NM. She passed away peacefully on Monday May 28th, 2018 in Rio Rancho, NM, with family by her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman L. Leach, parents Tom and Billie Boney, brother R.B. Boney, and granddaughter Georgia Sanchez. Donna is survived by brother Lloyd Boney, sons Mike Leach and Alan Leach, granddaughter Alise Rose Leach, and great- grandchildren Chantel Sanchez, Angelina Sanchez, Isabella Sanchez, Adrian Sanchez, and Nicholas Diaz.

Donna was a bank operations officer at a large bank in Southern California. After returning to New Mexico due to a job change by her husband and for eventual retirement, Donna continued to work as a preschool teacher, then settled down to retirement. Donna enjoyed traveling, having family gatherings, and country western dancing with her dance partner and life-long companion, husband Thurman.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Steed Todd Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Services will be held in the Steed Todd Chapel on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10:00am. Burial to follow at the Grady Cemetery in Grady, NM.
