Edna Robberson

Edna J. Robberson, 105, of Clovis passed away on December 11, 2018. She was born October 7, 1913 in House, New Mexico to Grover Clifton Smith and Willie Sue Bell Smith.

She attended school and graduated from high school in House. She married Elmer P. Robberson on April 4, 1936. They farmed and ranched in the McAlister community.

Edna loved music and played the piano in the Methodist church for many years. When they retired, they moved to Clovis. She enjoyed singing with groups and attending singing conventions. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley J. Mallory; husband, Elmer P. Robberson; her parents; and her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, ElVerna Robbie (Donnie) Sparks; five grandchildren: Brenda Mallory (Mike) Gottlieb, Linda Mallory Saidla, Melissa Sparks (Jim) Lettis, Robb (Ellen) Sparks, Amy J. Sparks (Nathan) DeVries; nine great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at Steed Todd Funeral Home on Friday December 14, 2018. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10:00am at Trinity United Methodist Church in Clovis. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
