Eleanor Ruth Patton, 89, of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on October 9, 2026 in Clovis, New Mexico.
There will not be any services held.
Eleanor was born in Clovis, New Mexico to Arthur R. and Leona J. Mitzelfelt on January 22, 1937. She attended school in Clovis, New Mexico. Eleanor married Donald F. Patton on June 8, 1953 in Clovis. eleanor worked for a time in the nursing field. She found her calling in women's fashion. Eleanor finished her working career at Tankersley's Women's Store in Clovis. Eleanor retired from Tankersley's after more than 30 years.
Eleanor is preceded in death by her father Arthur, mother Leona, sister Geraldine, and husband Donald.
Eleanor is survived by her son Russell (Deborah) Patton, her brother Robert (MaryLee) Metzelfelt, four grandchildren Cory Russell of Clovis, Geary Patton, Melissa Jones and Hollie Deaner all of Maryland, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to any animal rescue organization.
