In Memory of Hazel Eugenia Crain Norred

Hazel Eugenia Crain Norred peacefully passed away on July 9, 2026. Hazel was born on March 2, 1927 in Swifton, Arkansas to Elza and Beuala Tinsley Crain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Bob Crain and Albert Lee Crain, her husband, Frank Norred, and her son, Justin Norred.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon and husband Riley Holmes of Bushland, Texas. Grandchildren include Melinda Stump and husband, Joe Bob of Terral, Oklahoma, Jeremy Holmes and wife, Lauren of Coffeyville, Kansas, Ashley Streseman and husband, Matthew of Winston Salem, North Carolina, and Kris Norred of College Station, Texas. Great grandchildren include Maddie Williams and husband Dillon of Terral, Oklahoma, Hayden Stump of Lipan, Texas, Jett Holmes and Jadon Holmes of Coffeyville, Kansas, Erika Connely of Canyon, Texas, Mackenzie Streseman of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Aaron Norred and wife Amanda and great great granddaughter Dolly Mae of Odessa, Texas, and Lindsay Norred of College Station, Texas.

Hazel was a 1949 graduate of now Nelson University aka Southwestern Assemblies of God College at Waxahachie, Texas. Hazel was an evangelist and minister along beside her husband, Frank for over 70 years. They served as ministers in several churches in New Mexico and Texas before retiring to Bushland, Texas. We are not sad today, because we know she is in the arms of Jesus. Hazel stated that she prayed daily that all her family and friends will make to Heaven and she will be reunited with them again.
