Hazel Rains

Long time resident of Clovis, NM, Hazel Grace Rains, age 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 5, 2019 in Clovis, New Mexico.

Mrs. Rains was born on January 23, 1928 in Post, New Mexico to Horace Greeley Byrd and Alice Iona Maedor. She worked as a talented hairdresser in Clovis, NM, where she made several friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving and adoring husband, “Bud” Marion Rains, and her precious parents.

She is survived by a wonderful family and close friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rains will be held at the Steed Todd Chapel on Saturday, September 14th, at 1:00PM with burial to follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
