Obituary

Jaime Lynn Vigil, 41, of Logan, New Mexico passed away on August 21, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones. She fought her cancer bravely. Our hearts are broken and at the same time rejoice that she has been made whole again. she had a spunky and direct personality, she never met a stranger. Her spirit will live on in her children and those she touched and loved.
Funeral services will be held at the San Antonio Catholic Church in Logan, New Mexico on Saturday September 12, 2026. Rosary will begin at 10:15am with Mass following at 11:00am. Father Cameron Degani will officiate the funeral services. Arrangements have been made with Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis, New Mexico.
Jaime was born in Tucumcari, New Mexico to John and Ruby Vigil on May 19, 1985. She graduated from Logan High School in 2003. Jaime worked in retail, at the Annex Bar and Grill and managed Family Dollar up until her illness.
Jaime loved spending time at Ute Lake, fishing and just being near the water.
Jaime is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Leo and Stella Arguello, paternal grandparents Joe and Fern Vigil, and Ricky Sena, Julian's father.
Jaime is survived by her loving children Julian Sena and Eliza Perez, her parents John and Ruby Vigil. Aristeo Perez, Eliza's father, and by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
Urn bearers will be Julian and Eliza.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of your choice.
The family of Jaime Vigil wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all family and friends for their prayers, donations and acts of kindness, her Cancer Team in Lubbock, Chanda Rose, Dana Mackey her hospice nurse and Presbyterian Hospice team.
