Jeanetta Mesner

We are saddened to announce Jeanette Lee Mesner (Abdill) of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, at the age of 75.

Jeanetta was born on April 26th, 1950, in Colorado and is one of four siblings. She worked many years as a dietician in Freeport, Illinois. She married the love of her life on December 3rd, 1966, at the age of 16. John and Jeanetta fell fast in love while he was stationed at CAFB. Together they had 4 children and spent their marriage living in Illinois with John's side of the family and retired in New Mexico with Jeanetta's side of the family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Wylmar Abdill; her loving husband, John Anthony Mesner; and her beloved daughter, Victoria Janine Schrader (Mesner).

She is survived by 2 brothers, Charles (Sheryl) Abdill and William (Chris) Abdill, and 1 sister, Melia (Conrad) Kwasigroch. Her 3 surviving children, Jennifer Mesner, Anthony (Tina) Mesner, and Stephanie Mesner. Also many grandchildren, Justin Mesner, Jason Boland, Taylor (Samantha) Schrader, Jacob Boland, Ashley Schrader, Trevor Mesner, Hunter McNamara, Ethan Mesner, Noah Mesner, Paryss Hodge, Cassius Hodge, and Evelie Hodge. Last but not least, she is a proud great-grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Lawn Haven Cemetery on June 27th, 2025, at 10:00 am.
