Jerry David Landrum

Jerry Landrum, 73, of Farwell TX passed away on March 14 in Lubbock TX.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 Mountain time, Saturday March 21, at New Life Assembly of God Church, 517 W. 21st Street in Clovis NM. Pastor Dean Williamson will be officiating the service.
Jerry was born in La Mesa CA to Douglas and Mae Landrum on September 7, 1952. He graduated from Farwell High School in 1971. He married Lorena Bullington on July 26, 1974 in Clovis NM. His first job was working with his dad for the city of Farwell. He spent the next 41 years working at Cargill Meat Solutions.
Jerry spent his retirement years doing what he loved the most, spending time with his family and friends. He loved camping, hiking, and just being in nature. He could often be heard singing and whistling and making everyone laugh.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Mae Landrum; his sister, Betty Coglon; his precious niece, Nicole Long.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Lorena; daughter, Melinda Landrum and son, Jerry Landrum; grandchildren, Breana Interian, Madison Armstrong, Damian Armstrong and JJ Armstrong; sisters, Colene Lane, Kay Landrum, Cindy (David) Long, and Shelley Landrum Oldham-McClure; brothers Champ Landrum and Jack Landrum; brothers in law, sisters in law, and many nieces and nephews.
Jerry will be remembered for his patience, kindness, humor and quiet strength. But most of all, for his love for his family, friends and his unwavering faith.
Jerry will be missed greatly, but we hold on to the hope that we will see him again and until then we will carry him in our hearts and hold on to the many memories.
