Jill was a kind and thoughtful soul whose gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a deep love for animals, especially Wylow and Ryver, her lab puppies, and Rainy Day, her cat; a passion for the peace of the mountains; and found joy in the quiet beauty of gardening.
Jill was born on July 3, 1979, in Clovis and spent her life bringing comfort and light to those around her. She grew up in Clovis and graduated from Clovis High School in 1997. Jill became a Christian when she was 8 years old. She will be remembered for her compassion, her calm presence, and her unwavering kindness.
Jill was a beacon of warmth and creativity, known for her resourcefulness and dedication. For over a decade, she poured her talents into her work at Lowe's Hardware, where she built lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike. Her passion for renovation was evident in the joys she shared with her family, notably through the three homes she and her father, Terry, lovingly flipped together.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Jill cherished her roots and spent time assisting on the farm in Broadview. She was known for the straightest lines across the field when she was cutting wheat, without GPS. She played a pivotal role in remodeling apartments, showcasing her keen eye for design and functionality. Jill had a special affinity for refurbishing old furniture, transforming pieces into cherished treasures, a testament to her belief in repurposing the past.
Jill is preceded in death by grandparents Travis and Gene Stovall of Broadview and Grandpa (Papa 2) Vernon Laman of Artesia, NM.
She is deeply loved and will be missed by her parents, Terry and Pam Stovall of Clovis; her sisters, Jodi Stovall of Lodi, CA, and Jennifer Bartlett of Windsor, CO; her brother-in-law, Cole Bartlett; and her cherished niece, Savanna Bartlett. She is also survived by her grandmother, Idella Laman and her aunt Debra Laman both of Artesia; her aunt Terri Lynn White and Uncle Martin White of Amarillo, her aunt Sharon Benson and Uncle Merle Benson of Albuquerque, and her uncle Roger Laman of Clovis; as well as numerous cousins who loved her dearly.
