Jimmie Graham

November 11, 1946 — December 11, 2022

Jim gained his angel wings on Dec 10 after a short illness.

He was born on November 11, 1946 in Clovis, NM to Leonard and Ora Belle Allen Graham.

He spent his school years in Clovis and Fairway, Nebraska.

In high school one of his teachers told him he would be a great salesman. This must have shaped him to his career of sales. In 1968 he started working at Ponca Wholesale. He was drafted into the Army in 1969. He was proud of his time in Vietnam with The Big Red One thru 1970 and always said he would do it again.

After returning he worked for a short time for the Railroad, Rock Island. He found out this wasn’t a good career choice for him and returned to Clovis and Ponca Wholesale.

In 1973 he met and married Marsha Lovelace and after 5 weeks they were married. They had almost 50 years together.

When Ponca Wholesale went out of business he opened Sandia Wholesale until his retirement in 2011. He made many good friends that he loved dearly.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lawanna Marie Graham and Lenora Feye Crawford; and his in-laws, John and Ann Lovelace.

He is survived by two sons, Jim Jr. and wife Ami; two grandsons, Nolan and Cole of Lincoln Nebraska. David and wife Marci of Bushland Texas; two grandsons Garit of Texico, and Dason of Bucklin, Kansas.

When David married Marcie he gained two beautiful granddaughters, Caitlyn and Hanna Copeland of Amarillo.

Sister Karilen Burkeen of Overland Park, Kansas.

Also, his faithful companion Phred who went almost everywhere he did.
