Joann Lopez

JoAnn Lopez, 69, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on May 25, 2026, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Santa Rosa, New Mexico on June 21, 1956 to Robert and Dora Maes.
JoAnn was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunty, and friend. She enjoyed knitting, crafting, going to yard sales and Bingo with her nieces and sisters. She loved being outdoors and traveling with her grandkids and her little man. Her son and daughter along with their four sons and her precious Angel in Heaven. Her little man along with her great-grandkids were her pride and joy. JoAnn was an amazing woman who had a heart of gold. She took care of all her brothers and sisters along with all their kids.
She is survived by her father, Robert Maes of Clovis, New Mexico; her son, David Griego of Clovis, New Mexico; her daughter Samantha Divina of Amarillo, Texas; her grandsons, Jonathan and Melissa Aburto of Utah, Sammy and Karla Lopez, Jasper Lukee Divina all of Amarillo, Texas, Antonio Griego of Clovis, New Mexico, her little man Malachi Price, Nylee Precious Griego of Clovis, New Mexico and Samuel Christian Lopez of Amarillo, Texas; her brothers, Larry (Patsy) Maes of Clovis, New Mexico, Jimmy Maes of Clovis, New Mexico, Bobby Maes of Las Vegas, Nevada; her sisters, Lorraine Maes of Clovis, New Mexico, Tina Maes of Clovis, New Mexico and Geraldine Maes of Clovis, New Mexico.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her husband Dickey Lopez, her precious granddaughter Jazmin Divina, her mother Dora Maes, and her sisters Isabel Aragon and Evelyn Lubécki.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Lopez, Antonio Griego and Malachi Price. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jonathan Aburto and Jasper Lukee Divina.
