Jose Garcia

Jose Jesus Garcia, age 83, of Texico, NM went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2018 in Texico.

J.J. was born on December 20, 1934 in Portezuelo, Jalisco, Mexico to the home of Zeferino and Maria Espejo Garcia.

J.J. is survived by his wife, Paula Bueno Garcia; 3 sons, Sammy Garcia, Joe Jesse (Martha) Garcia, and John Anthony (Mandy) Garcia; 1 daughter, Geneva Garcia (Darin Stegemoller); 6 brothers, Ramon, Ruben, Antonio, Nicolas, Raul and Carlos Garcia; 6 sisters, Rosa, Graciela, Maria, Amelia, Irma and Martha Garcia; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Monday, August 13th from 12:00pm to 8:00pm and Tuesday, August 14th from 9:00am to 6:00pm in the Steed Todd Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited immediately after visitation at 6:00pm on Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial is on Wednesday, August 15th, 10:30am at San Jose Catholic Church in Texico, with Father Eli Valadez officiating. Burial will follow in the Texico Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Jose Jesus Garcia III, Dawson Stegemoller, Luke Anthony Garcia, Marc Anthony Garcia, Joshua Isaiah Garcia, Kyle Richardson, and Isaiah Montoya.
