JW Pollard

Joseph Wesley Pollard, Jr. affectionately known as "J.W./Pepe" was born October 19, 1934 in Cameron Texas to Joseph Wesley Pollard, Sr. and Myrtle Pollard. Although his family relocated to Clovis, New Mexico, Joseph remained in Cameron and was raised by his grandfather.

He played football and basketball in high school and shortly after graduating, entered the United States Army where he served for four years. After he was honorably discharged, he began working for Asarco in Clovis.

Pepe loved talking, laughing, joking and counseling any one that came to him to talk. Let him tell it, he was an expert at everything!

Joseph was preceded in death by his Father and Mother; Sisters: Myrtle Margaret Barber, Ira Loraine Woodruff Pollard, and one brother, Pascol Pollard. He leaves a legacy of love and hope to his children: Robyn Pollard, Blake Pollard, Byron Pollard, Sea, Colby Pollard Sea, and Denise Shankle. One brother, Bruce Popllard (Joyce), one nephew Wayne Pollard, two great nephews, Jayce & Julian Pollard, and a host of other family and friends.
