Kurt Jarrod Vigil

Kurt Jarrod Vigil, 46, of Clovis, NM, passed away on July 14th of 2023 in Lubbock, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday July 28th of 2023 at Restoration Baptist Church.

Kurt was born in Santa Fe, NM, to Ted Vigil and Rhonda Mary-Elaine Vigil on November 27th of 1976. He married Joy Lucero on February 27th of 2017 in Clovis, NM.

Kurt was known as ‘The Taxi Guy’. He owned and operated Turbo Taxi, and The Bass Place Car Audio. He had a passion for car audio, building and painting model cars, and he had an unconditional love for animals.

Kurt is proceeded in death by his father, Ted Vigil. Kurt is survived by his wife, Joy Lucero, his brothers, Ted Vigil (Yvette Vigil), Eric Vigil, Sef Vigil (Kellie Vigil), his mother, Rhonda Mary-Elaine Vigil, and his nieces and nephews, Karissa Sanchez (Daniel Sanchez), Josiah Vigil (Victoria Coverdale), Mariah Madeline Vigil, Ashley Vigil, Holly Vigil, Arianna Lucero, Camber Lucero, Zyar Lucero.
