Lisa Hughes

Lisa Evelyn (Harrison) Hughes was born February 18, 1972 in Clovis, NM. She went home to be with Jesus on June 29, 2017.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, July 3, 2017 at Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis, NM with Pastor James Terry and Pastor Todd Terry officiating. Her burial will take place at Hollene Cemetery in Hollene NM.
Lisa graduated from Texico High School in 1990. On May 22, 1993 she married Dennis Hughes in Texico, NM. Lisa worked at Clovis Community College out of high school. She then worked at her dad's accounting office for several years as well as Faith Triumphant School.
Lisa's boys were her pride and joy. She proudly supported everything they did. She loved to bake and cook for their school activities. She enjoyed serving not just her kids, but all of the kids at the school. She also had Thanksgiving meals at her house every year, even when her health had deteriorated. She loved having her family in her home.
Lisa was preceded in death by her dad, Lloyd (Pete) Harrison, her maternal grandparents; John R. and Evelyn Hadley, her paternal grandparents; Hettie and Jessie Harrison plus numerous aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Hughes, sons; Bryce Harrison and wife Carlie of Portales NM, Bryon Hughes of Phoenix AZ, Brandon Hughes and wife Sarah of Clovis NM, and Bradley Hughes of Clovis NM, stepdaughter Joy Hughes of Clovis NM, mother Linda (Hadley) Harrison of Clovis NM and her sister Lori Perkins and husband Shawn of Melrose NM, nephew Zack Perkins, and niece Mackenzie Perkins. She is also survived by her mother and father in law; Joyce and Georges Hughes of Clovis NM. As well as her brothers in law and their wives; Philip and Linda Hughes of Las Cruces NM, Bobby and Lisa Hughes of Las Cruces NM, and Larry and Kim Hughes of Clovis NM, plus numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center or the charity of your choice in Lisa's name.
