Mary (Gloria) Katherine Sanchez, age 82, of Clovis, NM, passed away on August 19, 2026. She was born on December 8, 1943, in Clovis, NM to parents Leonor Maez and Felipé Padilla. She married Christobé Sanchez in 1962, and together they shared 64 years.

Our beloved mother enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was proud to be a mother and recognized all her kids as unique individuals. Mary raised her children with the values, beliefs and words of wisdom passed down from her mother.

Mary was a devoted Catholic and frequently prayed to her favorite saint, the Virgin Mary. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her cats. Our mother will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

She is survived by her husband Christobé Sanchez, Children; Chris Sanchez (Nancy), Joseph Sanchez, Eleanor Hirschey (Darren), Bernadette Sanchez, Angela Gonzales (Ermie Sr.), Grandchildren; Tiffany Padilla, C.J. Sanchez, Melanie Bravo, Ermie Gonzales Jr, Alyssa Gonzales, Gage Hirschey, Avery Jamison Sanchez, Brennan Burnside, and Giuliana Gonzales. Great Grandchildren; Valentine Hagan, and Noah Nelson. Siblings; Tina Romero (Jimmy), Janet Rivera, Christine Torres (Ralph), and Eddie Padilla (Berta). She was preceded in death by her parents Felipé Padilla, Leonor Maez, Siblings; Patrick Padilla Alfonso Padilla, Conrad Padilla, Angelina Garcia and Lorraine Padilla.
