Maudene Potts

Maudene Potts, 86, of Clovis, passed away on June 24th, 2023.

Maudene was born in Amarillo, Texas to Frank & Frances Growdon on August 11th, 1936.

She attended Ranchvale in Clovis School, and was a graduate of Saint Mary’s Nursing School in Roswell and worked as a nurse and a private duty nurse.

She married Bobby G. Potts on January 16th, 1963 in Carrizozo NM.

Maudene loved the Lord, and was active in her church. She was an accomplished artist, including a painting in ENMU Art Collection. She also Enjoyed drawing & helping others.

Maudene is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby G. Potts, her parents Frank & Frances Growdon, 2 sisters Jane Spall and Betty Gardner. Step son Joseph Dean Potts, daughter Kara Bibbs, step daughter Donna Potts.

Maudene is survived by her son David W. Potts, daughter Kim Ellen Potts, 2 stepsons Michael Strickland and Tony Strickland. Sister Ellyn Anderson-Phillips, grandchildren Marcus Spicer, Tynasha Aubrey-Spicer , Isaac Bibbs, Joseph M. Potts, Nicolette Potts, and numerous great grandchildren.

Maudene was much loved & will be extremely missed.
