Michael Richardson

Michael Anthony Richardson, age 23, of Clovis, NM was called by the Lord to enter Heaven on February 4, 2019 in Clovis. He was born on December 19, 1995 to the home of George and Shirley (Youngquist) Richardson of Clovis, NM.

Michael went to school in Clovis and graduated from Clovis High School with the class of 2014. He was a member of Faith Christian Family Church where he was also baptized. Michael worked at IHOP for 3 years. He really liked his job and loved the friends he had made there. Michael enjoyed messing around with his guitar and listening to music. He was a huge fan of Cheech & Chong and enjoyed watching scary movies. Michael had a love for dogs and wolves. He enjoyed playing video games, eating Puerto Rican rice and hot wings. We can't forget his car - he was so proud of his car!! He couldn't drive it but he enjoyed sitting in it just chilling out. Most of all Michael loved fishing with his dad and hanging out with his cousins. He was a young man of few words. Those who knew him totally understand. Michael was proud to be the tallest in our family, he was OUR gentle giant. We will miss him dearly.

Michael leaves behind his loving parents, George and Shirley Richardson and his sister, Felicia Richardson. He is preceded in death by his: uncle, Parker Miles; aunts, Betty Stokes and Bernie Cruz; grandparents, Walt and Phyllis Youngquist; great-grandmother, Fran; and cousins, Tommy Miles and Diane Tucker.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 8th from 12:00pm to 7:00pm at Steed Todd Funeral Home. Memorial service will be Saturday, February 9th at 1:00pm in the Steed Todd Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lincoln officiating.
