After coming back to Clovis she took up an active role as a member of the VFWA, sewing in the office of Reporter, for which she won national recognition.brbrShe also made many trips to the VA Hospital dressed as a clown to boost the spirits of brpatients. She was involved in many community programs, from Senior Citizens to youthbrorganizations. Mrs. Maguire was a loving and devoted Christian, wife, mother, and friend. She was a member of the 21st Street Church of Christ.
