Nida Rierson

Nida Ann Rierson, 89, of Clovis, NM entered into the gates of Heaven on April 21, 2018 in Clovis. Nida was born in West Camp, TX to the home of Albert and Ruby (Belcher) Moss on November 18, 1928.

Nida married Chester Rierson on May 9, 1946 in Clovis, NM. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Soroptimist International. She was also a board member of Clovis Senior Meal Site, life time member of NM Women's Bowling Association and an inductee into the NM Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame.

Preceding Nida in death are her mother and father, Albert and Ruby Moss; husband, Chester Rierson; brothers, Carl Moss and Pat Moss. She leaves behind her son; Michael (Gail) Rierson of Clovis, NM; daughters, Peggy (Lee) Smith of North Richland Hills, TX, Donna Horton of Clovis, NM and Dianne Jones of Clovis, NM; sister, Faye Falvey of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Stephanie (Bryan) Allen of Tyler, TX, Sydnee Horton of Clovis, NM, Tanner Horton of Clovis, NM, Kelcee Jones of Lubbock, TX, Kade Jones of Clovis, NM and great-granddaughter, Amelia Allen of Tyler, TX.

Private services will be held at a later date.
