Norma Aucoin-Metzger

Norma Jeane Aucoin-Metzger, age 74, of Clovis, NM went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, the 31st of October, 2018. She was born on April 30, 1944, in Concord, New Hampshire to the home of John and Gloria (Whitman) Nudd.

Norma attended St. John Lutheran Church in Lariat, Texas. She worked for Sears in retail for many years, and received employee of the month several times. Before working for Sears, Norma was the owner/manager of the Clovis Bus Depot. She enjoyed family time, family meals, games, and creating many crafts.

Norma and her family ended up in New Mexico by throwing a dart at a map after their business in New Hampshire burned down. She enjoyed the New Mexico culture, but was sure to keep her New Hampshire roots.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, John and Gloria (Whitman) Nudd; her first husband, Edward Aucoin; daughter, Tammy Aucoin, and grandson, Joel Gallegos.

Norma is survived by her husband, LaVern Metzger of Clovis; daughters, Brenda (Joe) Schallert of Tucumcari, Marilyn Fetzer of Clovis, Marlene (Carl Dee) George-Aucoin of Carlsbad; brothers, Carl (Venita) Nudd, Jack (Rita) Nudd, both of New Hampshire; sister, Lisa (Peter) Jones of New Hampshire; 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday the 7th of November at 2:00 pm CST at St. John Lutheran Church, 725 Co Rd DD, Farwell, TX 79325.
