Olga Martha Montaño, 69, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas.
Olga was born in San Antonio, Texas, on July 19, 1956, to Julia and Margarito Castillo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julia and Margarito Castillo, son, Jimmy Castillo, two brothers, Frank and Arthur Castillo, two sisters, Catharine Urbina and Guadalupe Hernandez, two nephews, Donnie Hernandez and John Castillo.
Survivors include her husband Frankie Montaño, daughter, Arlin Gallegos (Daniel), three grandchildren, Jonathan Castillo (Cassandra), Julia Gallegos, and Daniel Gallegos (Angela), eight great grandchildren, Noah, Amaya, Avaeah, and Emma Castillo, Luna Place, Eliana, Ezekiel, and Evannarie Gallegos.
Olga was a loving and kind hearted person. She didn't hesitate to lend a helping hand. She was a mother to all and the rock of her family. She will be missed for her sense of humor, cooking, her listening ear, and her heart of gold. She enjoyed listening to Christian music, cooking out, coloring, and spending time with family. She will be dearly missed by family and everyone who knew her.
Pallbearers will be, Jonathan Castillo, Daniel Gallegos Jr., Noah Castillo, Margarito Hernandez, Manuel Hernandez, Richard Hernandez, Frank Castillo, and Johnny Munoz.
Honorary pallbearers will be Christian Molinero, Michael Pearson, Keith Lovato, and Santiago Felix.
