Ora Rogers
October 28, 1911 — December 8, 2009
Ora Lee Rogers, 98, of Hobbs, New Mexico, went to be with her Lord on December 8, 2009. She was born November 28, 1911, in Ironton rural, Iron County, Missouri.
She married Cecil Short in 1935 and they had three children. Mr. Short passed away in 1944. She married Vin Marsh of Altus, Oklahoma in January 1950. After he passed away she married W. W. Rogers in 1990 and he passed away in 1996.
She is survived by her daughter, Lovetta Short of Hobbs and 2 sons, Cecil Dwaine Short of Portales, New Mexico and Jerry Short of T or C, New Mexico; 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2009, at Melrose Cemetery in Melrose, New Mexico.
