Patsy Merritt

Patsy Lou Merritt was born to Herbert and Dora Houtchens in Dimmit, Texas on April 27, 1927. She married Percy Merritt in 1945. They had four children: Jackie Baily (Gary) of Alto, NM; Carla Jo Fly (Gary) of Clovis, NM; Robert Merritt (Linda) of Dekalb, TX; and Sammy Merritt (Deborah) of Clovis, NM; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. Patsy loved the Lord, loved her family, and loved her country. She was an accomplished interior designer; indeed, she was an artist. Patsy radiated happiness and shared it wherever she went. She passed from this world on June 10, 2016. Her parents; sisters Louise, Florene, and Mary; brothers Doyle and Charles; and husband Percy preceded her in death. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 pm, June 14, 2016, at 21st Street Church of Christ. Greg Martin will be officiating.
