Pauline Pacheco

Pauline C. Pacheco, age 72, of Clovis, NM passed away peaceful at her home on Sunday, July 9, 2017. She was born on March 4, 1945 in Plainview, Texas to the home of Pete Gomez and Santos (Carrion) Gomez. She married the love of her life, Benny Pacheco on October 13, 1973 in Juarez, Mexico.
Her husband Benny and she owned and operated Grand Traders Auto and Aces Realty in Clovis. She handled all the bookkeeping. Pauline was a very strong, faithful lady. She was the peacemaker of the family. She enjoyed her family very much and loved to cook, and she made sure everybody was fed. Pauline was a mother figure to all her brothers, she didn't have any favorites and she loved unconditionally.
She is survived by her children Benny Fermine Pacheco, Jr., Olivia (Nicholas) Fidanzato and Sally (Michael) Coony; her grandchildren, Isabella Pacheco, Jonathan Coony, and Jacob Coony; her mother-in-law, Teodora (Lola) Pacheco; brothers, John (Gloria) Gomez, EC Mike (Patricia) Gomez, Pablo (Esther) Gomez, Jesse (Eva) Gomez, and Ernest-Neto Gomez; one sister-in-law Vivian (John) Jimenez; and one brother-in-law, Louie (Aida) Pacheco.
She is preceded in death by her husband Benny Pacheco, Sr., her parents Pete and Santos Gomez; a brother Henry Gomez; and a sister Pola Puentes.
Recitation of the Rosary will be on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 6:00pm in the Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Fr. Angelo Marquez, officiating. Honorary Pall Bearers are all her nieces and nephews. Burial will take place alongside her husband at Mission Garden of Memories.
