Peggy Walton

Peggy Leonard Walton, age 75, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 in Tempe, AZ.
A graveside memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
at Lawn Haven Cemetery in Clovis, NM.

Peggy was born March 6, 1936 in Chattanooga, TN to Robert Lee and Eula Bell Jones
Payne. She married John Jack Walton on December 14, 1954 he preceded her in death
on February 16, 1980. She was an Air Force bride and lived at various military bases
during her marriage. She came to Clovis, NM via Myrtle Beach, SC when her husband
was stationed at Camaon AFB. She lived in Clovis until his death in 1980 when she
moved to Tempe, AZ.

Peggy loved to travel and after moving to Phoenix she travelled extensively to spots all
across America the Caribbean and Europe. She was delighted whenever she had the
opportunity to take another trip, exploring new places and taking in new sites whenever
she could.

Peggy was happiest of all when spending time with her family. She is survived by her
son, Bobby Walton of Honolulu, H1, her daughter and soninlaw, Jackie and DeWayne
Freeman of Clovis, NM, her brother and sisterinlaw Paul and Anne Murdoch of Atlanta,
GA, her sister and brotherinlaw Sandy and Stormy Withers, Jr. of Hamden, CT, and her
long time companion, John Moser of Tempe, AZ.

ln lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Humane Society.
