Randa Carole Bradley, 79, of Melrose, New Mexico, passed away on April 29th, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones at her home in Melrose. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 4th, 2026, at Melrose Methodist Church, with Monty Leavell officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Randa was born on September 17th, 1946, in Clovis, New Mexico, to Randall and Ruth Brittain. She graduated from Melrose High School and went on to marry the love of her life, Floyd Bradley, on January 23rd, 1965, in Melrose. Randa was a proud business owner, having owned and operated Randa's Cafe in Melrose for many years. She was a woman deeply devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in spending time with them. Known for her many talents, Randa had a remarkable green thumb and a passion for teaching others. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and creating beautiful holiday decorations. She was also known for canning some of the best homemade salsa around. You could always find Randa on her back porch, ready for a good conversation, but if you pulled up a chair, you'd better be ready to listen because she always had something worth saying. Randa was preceded in death by her loving husband, Floyd Bradley; her parents, Randall and Ruth Brittain; her brothers, Gary, Dan, and Jimmy Brittain; her great-grandson, Rhett Rush; and her beloved German Shepherd, Karma. She is survived by her three children: Brian Bradley and wife Kim; Gwynne Draper and husband Joe; and Mindi Bradley and husband John, all of Melrose, New Mexico. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren: Trey Roberts; Taneil Rush and husband Cedar; Lane Riley and wife Shawndell; Dylan Draper; Kambree Draper; Jaylee Bradley; Kinlee Bradley; Kwade Bradley; Tori Hynes and husband Justin; Melinda LaChapelle and husband Chris; and Rita Gintz and husband Matt. She is further survived by her eleven great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be all of her grandsons and great-grandsons. As a devoted supporter of Melrose youth, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Against the Current Youth Center, P.O. Box 368, Melrose, New Mexico 88124, in lieu of flowers.
