Richard R. Lokken of Clovis, NM, passed away on September 13, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 8, 1943, in Lansing, MI, to Allert T. and Irene Violet (Williams) Lokken.

Richard was a resident of Clovis for 54 years. He loyally served in the United States Air Force for 21 years and retired as a MSgt. After retirement, he worked for Allsup's and R&D Service Center. Richard also worked for Cummins Natural Gas Engines, traveling the world teaching and repairing engines until he finally retired in June 2005.

He was a Lifetime Member of the VFW and the NWTF. Richard found great joy in the outdoors and was happiest when he was hunting or fishing.

Richard is survived by his children, Angela Cannady (Amine Mahmoudi) of Clovis, NM; Richard R. Lokken (Amy) of Clovis, NM; and Nicole Lokken of The Colony, TX; his stepdaughter, Kristi Mackey (Tracy); his grandchildren, Hope Williams (Brandon), Heather Walker, Destiny Walker, Richard Lokken, and Az Cannady; his step-grandchildren, Ashtyn, Orrin, Ethan, Katey, and Victoria; his great-grandson, Darnell Williams; his great-granddaughter, Faith Williams; and his step-great-granddaughters, Scotland, Irelynn, Iris, and Indie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Allert T. and Irene Violet (Williams) Lokken; his first wife, Diane; his second wife, Dottie; his brother, Sonny; and his sisters, Audrey, Anita, and Jane.
