Our beautiful mother, Rosita (Rose) Gallegos, 83, of Clovis, NM, went on to be with her Lord on November 7, 2021 in Clovis.
She will be laid to rest on November 19, 2021. Funeral services will be held at Clovis New Life at 2:00 pm and burial will be at Texico Cemetery. Johnny Metler will be officiating. Pallbearers will be: Joe Gallegos Jr., Michael Gallegos Jr., Arthur Gallegos Jr., Richard Gallegos III, David Byrd, Zayden Meiwes, Joe Gallegos III, and Andres Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be sons-in-law: Joe Gallegos Sr., Javier Garcia, Shawnn Anderson, Donnie Falks and great-great grandson, Dean Garcia.

Rose was born on November 7, 1938 to Jose Cruz Sr. and Isidora (Lucero) Beltran in Vaughn, NM. She grew up in Tucumcari. She married Richard Gallegos Sr. on December 21, 1953 they wedre married for 62 years at the time of his passing in 2015. Rose was a homemaker but worked harder than anyone could imagine. Rose loved the Lord dearly and her prayer was that one day all of her children would serve the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. She loved her 13 children unconditionally! Rose most enjoyed when all her family was sharing time together. She was known for her wonderful chili and tortillas. Rose had a very caring and giving heart for everyone. She had countless children and grandchildren besides her own. Everyone that met her couldn't help but love her!!!

She is survived by her children: (5) sons; Manuel Beltran (Alvira Hernandez), Richard Jr. (Hope), Arthur (Caroline), Daniel, Joey Gallegos. (6) daughters;  Helen Gallegos (Joe Sr.), Priscilla Anderson (Shawnn) of Albuquerque, NM, Erlinda Garcia (Javier) of Santa Fe, NM, Mary Ann Garcia (Donnie Falks), Rebecca Byrd. (3) sisters: Alvira Aragon, Sophia Sebastian of Connecticut, and Annie Brown. 2 sisters-in-law; Enedine Robles and Eva Gallegos. Her 23 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and 36 great-great granchildren and several more on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents, Jose Cruz and Isidora Beltran; A daughter Frances Gallegos, 2 sons, Edward (Eddy) and David (Birdy) Gallegos; brothers, Clemente and Felix Robles, Philipe, Magin, and Jose Cruz Jr.; grandson, Edward Barber; 3 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
