Roy Elwin Copeland, 73, of Texico, New Mexico, died Sunday, October 5, 2008, at Carrillon House in Lubbock, Texas.
He was born in Webster County, Missouri near Rogersville to George Copeland Eva Wright Copeland. He moved with his family to the Greeley, Colorado, area in 1935 and attended Greeley schools. He moved to New Mexico in 1989 with his wife Carol.
He is survived by 3 sons, a daughter and 1 brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son and 2 brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. CDT, Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell, Texas.
