Santiago Ruben Garcia, 64, beloved Father, Husband, Son, Brother and Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on April 27, 2025. He entered this world on October 25, 1960 born to Orlando and Dora Garcia.

He is survived by his wife Maria "Patsy" Garcia; daughters Roxanne Garcia, Jessica Garcia and Jacklyn Garcia (Jaime Maltos); sons Joseph Snug Apodaca (Leann), Alex Urban and Albert Urban; Brother-in-Law Jaime Velarde; god daughters Felis Ramirez and Monique Garcia; sisters Donna Garcia; brothers Pete Garcia (Elena); grandchildren Alissa Garcia, Xavier Maltos, Landen Ahloo, Anesa Maltos, Allianna Guiterrez, Marciano Guiterrez, Lexie Maltos, Nieko Guiterrez, Cruz Garcia, Azazel Apodaca, Kaliano Apodaca, Nikalette Nathan, Layla Nathan, Mireya Urban, Myra Urban, Sofia Urban, Illianna Urban, Nikola Urban, Ayden Urban, Allyson Urban.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Dora Garcia; his sisters Yolanda Velarde, Anita Rodriguez and brother Marty Sena.

Pallbearers are Jaime Maltos, Xavier Maltos, Alex Urban, Azazel Apodaca, Kaliano Apodaca, and Joseph Apodaca.

Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Garcia, Peter Garcia, Robert Salinas, and Javier Martinez.

Santiago was born in Santa Rosa New Mexico eventually moving to Clovis New Mexico as a young man. He married his high school sweet heart Patsy on March 21,1978. Santiago was a hardworking man. He was very funny and loving and was always there when you needed someone to talk to, he wanted every one to be the best version of themselves and was so encouraging. He loved fishing and the annual fathers day camping trips were his favorite. He absolutely loved cheering for his grand kids at their sporting events as they were so important and close to him. He was not only an amazing father but he was a best friend and the glue that held his family together. He will be deeply and truly missed by many.

A viewing will be held on Monday May 5th 9am -5pm with the Rosary following 6pm-6:30pm at Steed Todd. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 6th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Guadalupe church, reception services will be held at the church after the burial services.
