Sara Godinez

Sara Godinez, 66, of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on July 3, 2025. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 9, 2025 from 9am-5pm at the Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel, located at 800 E. Manana Blvd, Clovis, New Mexico 88101. Funeral Services will be held at the Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 10:00am. Jose Luis Garcia from Gracia Church will be officiating the funeral service.

Sara was born in Zaragoza, Coahuila to Manuel and Soccoro Cardona on July 22, 1958. She married, divorced and then common law married Ubaldo Godinez. Although she had daughters her love was wholly and totally centered on her husband and her dogs.

Sara was preceded in death by both of her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Ubaldo Godinez, also by her daughter Maria Godinez Juarez (Gabriel Juarez) of Clovis, New Mexico, her siblings, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
