Sharon Tipton

Sharon Tipton, age 77, of Clovis, NM passed away Monday, January 1, 2019 at Presbyterian Hospital in Clovis. Visitation will be held Saturday January 5th from 10am - 5pm at Steed-Todd Funeral Home, 800 East Manana Blvd, Clovis, NM. Services will be held Sunday, January 6th at 3:00pm at Steed-Todd with Pastor David Renfro presiding. Private burial will be held at Lawn Haven Memorial Garden at a later date.

Sharon was born February 19, 1941 to Harold and Thelma Hermen in Elgin, Iowa. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Sharon graduated from Sterling High School (CO) in 1959 and went on to graduate from Eastern New Mexico University-Clovis with Associates Degree in Applied Science in 1984. She loved her two dogs Munchkins and Buddy as much as she loved her family. She loved to ballroom dance in competitions with her late husband Kenneth. Sharon's home was home to everyone. She made sure family always had a roof over their heads. Even on her feisty days she welcomed everyone. She had a very contagious smile and a huge heart! Her life was always about bringing the family together and she loved the holidays.

Sharon leaves behind her three sons; Tom Stanley (Jeanette) and Mike Eichem (Rebecca) both of Clovis, NM and Tim Eichem (Jackie) of Bedford, IN, two daughters; Susie Eichem (Gregory) of Rowlett, TX and Kathy Eichem of Clovis, NM, two brothers; Roger Hermen (Linda) of Aurora, Co and Dennis Hermen (Paula) of Fargo, ND; grandkids; Johnny, Kristi, Lyric, Sarah, Thomas, Ashley, Rachel, Ryan, Darrien, Taidje, Ryan, Jonathan, Larry Jr., Samuel, Tony, James, Katie, Roxanne and Kenny; great-grandkids, Antonyo, Alyssa, Noah, Gabriel, Arianna, Jameson, Norah, Larry 3rd, Andrew, Sammy, Walter, Dakota, Cheyenne, Mark, Faith, Kelbi, Zoey, Ethan, Colton, Blaine, Dani, Nathaniel and Allen; and nurmerous nieces and nephews She is preceded in death by her husband; Kenneth Tipton; parents, Harold and Thelma Hermen; twin sister; Sandra Reed, brother; Edward Hermen.
