Thomas Jones

Thomas P. Jones, PHD; “Brother Pete”; 90, beloved Father and Husband, was called home on November 26, 2020. (Not Covid related). He was born on September 23, 1930 in Glendale, CA, born to Walter and Henrietta Jones. He is survived by his spouse Wanda Jones; daughter Shelba Gorham-Bell; son Thomas Jones; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughters Sherrel and Sharran.Thomas Served in the Navy CB’s from 1950-1954. He entered the ministry in 1954 and pastured Churches in Amarillo, TX; Wichita Falls, TX; and Gering, NE. Pete retired from ministry at Central Christian Church, Clovis, NM in 2000. Thomas served as chaplain for the Clovis Police Department.He served on the mission field in South Africa and Malawi 1969-1972.A memorial Service was held on Dec. 2, at Memory Gardens in Amarillo, TX.
